About Us

Since we began in 2006, Metalution has focused on achieving customer excellence by providing the highest standard of product.

Metalution Deepdraw Tooling & Design was founded in 2006 by Mike Flinsky. Mike began Metalution in Zeeland, Michigan with two manual lathes, two bridgeports, two surface grinders, one EDM hole drill, and two part-time employees in order to fulfill a void in the deepdraw tooling market. Mike felt that spare tooling he had been receiving while working at a larger tooling company was expensive and lacked quality. As a result, Mike’s goal was to achieve customer excellence by providing the highest standard products through quality, accuracy, originality, cost, service, and delivery.

Mike is a carded production toolmaker, which enables him to better understand fit form and functionality of the tooling manufactured at Metalution. Mike’s production knowledge also increases Metalution’s productivity.

Metalution later became ISO 9001 certified QMS in 2009. Becoming ISO certified gave Metalution credibility for their work that they had already been producing. The certification ultimately gave Metalution the validation to their standards and quality they had already been using. Also since becoming ISO certified Metalution has seen steady growth in both sales and exposure.

From 2008 to 2013, Metalution added 12 full-time employees and seven pieces of CNC equipment (3 CNC Hurco Lathes and 4 CNC Hurco Mills) as well as extensive growth. In mid 2010, Metalution moved to their current location at 60 W 64th Street in Holland, Michigan which provides ample space for continued growth. In 2014, Metalution utilized some of that extra space expanding the surface grinding department with two large surface grinders as well as adding a new wire EDM Machine (Makino U6 Heat). In early 2015, Metalution expanded our operations by adding a second shift. Throughout the years, the additional equipment and employees have contributed to Metalution’s ability to keep growing and evolving.

As Metalution has grown they have not lost sight of their commitment to provide customers with the highest standard of products. Additionally, Metalution continues to evolve processes and acquire new technology in order to maintain that commitment. Thus, they have been accepted in many markets while remaining competitive with larger companies.
